We recently completed a full bathroom remodel, turning a dated, challenging space into a safe, functional and stylish shower area. The process began with the demolition of an old cast iron tub, surround and valve and we made sure to minimize dust by using a HEPA dust collection system.
To enhance safety and accessibility, we installed a barrier-free shower with a slip-resistant white composite stone pan and designed the walls with moisture-resistant greenboard. For extra stability, we added grab bars with a Moen Designer Series mount and a floating teak shower seat. The white acrylic surround with a subway tile pattern extended all the way to the ceiling, creating a clean, modern look.
For comfort and convenience, we installed a Moen Posi-Temp valve with a new chrome shower head and handheld wand. We also added a chrome metal corner shelf for storage and a chrome shower curtain rod with a weighted curtain to keep water contained. Also the project included an ADA accessible 32″ door, which was widened to improve accessibility, with electrical adjustments made to fit the new frame.
This remodel transformed a difficult space into a comfortable, safe and accessible bathroom that meets the homeowner’s needs and enhances their daily routine. The installation was completed in just 2-3 days and we take pride in designing bathrooms that blend functionality with beauty—creating spaces where everyone can feel at ease and enjoy their time.
