The park is located in the north-central part of the city and is easily accessible from the I-17 freeway. The park is divided into two sections: the north and the south. The north section is the larger of the two and has a paved trail about 3.5 miles long. The south area is smaller and has a dirt trail about 1.5 miles long. The park is open from sunrise to sunset and is accessible to the public.
